Title |
Instrument of Resignation and Sasine under the hand of Alexander Broune, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that John Wallace, lord of Cragy, in consideration of a certain sum of money, resigned his three acres of land with pertinents lying between the lands of Tua-stane-croce, at the messuage thereof, being part of the lands of Ouir Duphald, in the territory of the burgh of Ayr within the sheriffdom of the same, into the hands of John Kirkpatrik, one of the bailies of the said burgh, in favour of Mr Michael Wallace of Waxfurd, provost of Ayr, to whom the said bailie gave sasine on 27th April 1563. The resignation was made in the lodging of the provost within the burgh on 26th November 1562, and sasine was given upon the ground of said lands on 27th April, 1563 |
