Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Thomas Cranstoun, clerk of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that John Kirkpatrik, one of the bailies of the burgh of Air, passed to the tenement of the late James Nycole, burgess of the said burgh, lying therein between the tenement of Archibald Jelly on the one side, and the fore-tenement of Alexander Lokhart and the back-tenement of the late Thomas Huchoun on the other side, and there in virtue of his office gave sasine of one-half thereof, as well as in front as in tail, with yards and pertinents, to Margaret Broun, grand-daughter and one of the heirs-portioners of the said James Nycole.
