Instrument under the hand of Alexander de Foulis, clerk of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Patrick de Leuyngston of that Ilk compeared in presence of the notary and declared that it had recently come to his notice that John de Douglas of Baluany had taken intrusion or sasine of the lands of the barony of Leuyngston pertaining heritably to him (the said Patrick): wherefore at the head messuage of the said lands he broke cassed and annulled the said intrusion or sasine by casting forth of earth and stone, and protested that it should neither prejudice him nor his heirs at any time. |
