Precept of Clare Constat by Andrew, Master of Erroll, fiar, and George, Earl of Erroll, liferenter, of the earldom of Erroll, addressed to Peter Hay of Meginche, Peter Hay, his son, and Richard Kynman, their bailies in that part, for infefting William Kynman as heir of William Kynman of Hill of Lerny in the lands of Hill of Larny and in one-half of the east part of the lands of Meginche, lying in the barony of Erroll and sheriffdom of Perth, which are held of the granters in capite. Kynman is declared to be of lawfull age in terms of an act of the Queen, Governor and the estates made at Pinkincleuch. At Logyalmond 21 February 1548-49 |
