Charter of Sale by George Meldrum of Fywe, knight, whereby, in consideration of a certain sum of money paid to him by Patrick Chene of Essilmont, knight, and Dame Isobel Bad, his spouse, he granted to them and to the longer liver of them in conjunct infeftment and to the heirs lawfully procreated or to be procreated between them, whom failing to the nearest heirs of the said Patrick and his assignees whomsoever, his fishing called "the nynt fysche" of the fishings of the Water of Ythan, beginning at the Sekfurd of Fywe and descending by the said Water to the sea, lying within the sheriffdom of Aberdeen: To be held de me, rendering therefor one penny Scotsat the Castle of Essilmont at Whitsunday in name of blench farm; with clause of warrandice.
