Title |
Instrument of Redemption under the hand of John Dryburgh, presbyter of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Duncan Chraufurd of Chemlarge and Roger Dvn in Pennyarthour, procurators of David Chrafurd in Litill Park, deposited and numbered the sum of £40 Scots upon the high altar of the parish church of Dalmellyntoun for redemption of the merkland of Vuer (Over) Pennyarthour from John Andersoun, Isobell Champbell, his mother, and Donald Andersoun, his uncle (frater patris) who received said sum and acknowledged that the reversion was fulfilled in all points, and renounced and resigned all their right and interest in said lands. Done in the parish church of Dalmellyntoun on 31st May 1544 |
