Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Gavin Ros, Master of Arts, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept of sasine (dated 14 March 1539-40) by David Craufurde of Kers, lord of the lands of Carrikmur, (with consent of Patrick Maxwell of Newwerk, George Craufurd of Leffinnoris, Thomas Corry of Kelwod and Duncan Craufurd, his curators) addressed to William Rede, Andrew Craufurde and John McClwne, his bailies in that part, for infefting Mariot Craufurd, his mother, in liferent, in the two merklands of Annehane, occupied by George [? Cunigham] and - McQuhonall, and the merkland of Glenhede of old extent, occupied by James McDill. Sasine given by the said John McClwne to the said Mariot on the ground of said lands on 14 March 1539-40 |
