Title |
Letters of Tack by Jhone, abbot of Deir, and the Convent thereof, whereby they set to George Gordone of Scheves, his heirs, assignees and sub-tenants, their lands of Carnebannocht, Auchtmonzell and Ardmauchtar with their pertinents, lying within the barony and lordship of Deir and sheriffdom of Abirdene, for 19 years from Whitsunday 1540, paying yearly the sum of £4 Scots, a wedder and one dozen capons for the lands of Carnebannocht, the same for the lands of Auchtmonzell, and the sum of £6:13: 4, a wedder and one dozen capons for the lands of Ardmauchtar, extending altogether to £14:13: 4 Scots, three wedders and three dozen capons. Gordon granted that the Brushyll was "na pertinentis of Carnebannocht na Auchtmonzell and dischargis the samyn as pertinentis". At the Abbay of Deir 24th October 1539 |
