Title |
(1) Discharge by Margaret, Jean, and Isobel Mure, daughters of the deceased Sir Archibald Mure of Thorntoun and Dame Jean Kennedy, and by their husbands, in favour of the said Dame Jean Kennedy, of all sums of money that their mother might owe them and of all household plenishing and furniture belonging to the late Sir Archibald, because Dame Jean had given up her claims to a liferent from the estate. Also, on the back of the discharge, a judicial ratification by the said daughters, dated 2 February 1705. (2) Obligation by John Cuninghame of Caddell, James Sinclair of Stemster, and James Forrest, doctor of medicine, husbands of the said daughters, to provide the said Dame Jean with the annualrent from 24,000 merks in liferent for the same reasons as in (1). Dated 26 January 1705. |
