Title |
A translation of the orders of the French Commander-in-Chief, Menou, on the day before the sortie made by the French from Alexandria on the above date, which was repulsed by the British army. The original, of which this is a translation, was found in the pocket of General Rire, commanding the cavalry, who was left dead on the field with three other general officers. |
