Title |
(1) Extract registered bond of provision by Hugh Stevensone of Montgreenan, in favour of his daughters Marion, Martha, and Margaret, of the sums of 6000, 4000, and 4000 merks respectively, and in favour of his sons John, James, and Hugh, of the sums of 4000 merks each, the sons also to share a shop and cellars in the entry to Parliament Close in Edinburgh, and stock in the Scottish Colony in America to be shared as directed. Dated 2 May 1699 and registered in the B. of C. & S., 20 November 1704. (2) Extract registered additional bond of provision by the said Hugh in favour of his said children, of the sum of £40 yearly to each for their better education, breeding, and entertainment, until they reached the age of 21 or until the daughters married. Dated 1 June 1699 and registered in B. of C. & S., 20 November 1712. |
