Discharge by Patrick Stewart of Balachen, and John McNachtane, sheriff depute of Argyll, lieutenants depute in the shires of Argyle and Tarbert appointed by John, Marquis of Atholl, lord lieutenant of the said shires, in favour of John Cuningham (Cuninghame) of Caldell, of all fines imposed on him for hearing vagrant preachers, and for his lady's causing the baptism of a child by some vagrant preacher, the said John being, at the time, in His Majesty's service at Inveraray under the lord lieutenant's command. |
