Cunninghame (Cuninghame), Berwick-upon-Tweed, informing him that Lord Feilding could not forward to the Duke of York his application for leave of absence for Lt. Smith of the Invalids, as H.M. orders were that all officers were to be at quarters on 10 March and also that, as the said Lt.Col. desired to give up the command of the garrison, Major Cashill should assume that command.
