Extract registered disposition by George Greif, writer, in favour of William Crawfurd of Birkinheid, of the sum of 2000 merks owed to Andrew Moncur, elder of that ilk, by Sir James Cunynghame, now of Glengarnok, kt., and his mother, the deceased Elizabeth Scott, Lady Glengarnok, with John Crawfurd of Kilbirnie, John Drummond of Bordland, the deceased John Blair, elder of Blair, and James Schaw of Grenok as cautioners, being part of the sum of 10,000 merks due to the said Andrew by the contract made on the marriage of his son Andrew Moncur, younger of Moncur, and Agnes Cunynghame, the said sum being disponed by Andrew, elder, to Andrew, younger, and by him to the said George Greif. |
