Title |
(1) General charge against Robert Muire of Corronary, in Ireland, brother and heir to the deceased James Muire elder of Thorntoune, to enter as heir to the said James or as heir to James' sons James and John Muire, the charge being raised at the instance of Archibald Muire, merchant burgess of Edinburgh, to enable him to collect sundry debts owed him by the estate of Thorntoune. 1 July 1680. (2) Attestation by James Ainslie, messenger, that notification of the general charge to Robert Muire had been duly performed. 1 July 1680. (3) Renunciation by the said Robert Muire in favour of the said Archibald Muire, of the said heirdom. 9 October 1680. (4) Extract decreet charging Robert Muire to pay the sums of money specified to the said Archibald Muire. 26 November 1680. (5) Extract decreet of adjudication by which the said Archibald is granted possession of the 10-merk land of Thorntoune. 8 July 1681. On the back is a precept of sasine dated 2 September 1681, for infeftment of the said Archibald in the said land. |
