(1) Bond by John Muire of Thorntoune as principal and Archibald Muire, merchant burgess of Edinburgh, as cautioner, in favour of John Porteus, servitor to Doctor Thomas Burnet, M.D., of the sum of 700 merks. 2 May 1678.
