Letter from Robert Rankin to Col. Cuninghame of Thornton reminding him that no time be lost in providing estimates and subscriptions for the proposed new lines of roads, with a copy of a note by Bailie David Limond of the roads in Cunninghame district to be brought into the intended new Turnpike Act for the county of Ayr, and a copy of a letter by the said bailie to the Earl of Eglinton, dated at Ayr, 10 August 1808, asking him to have ready the estimates and subscription lists for the proposed new roads.
