(1) Missive of relief by Archibald Cuninghame, in favour of William Macredie of Piercetoun, of the said William's cautionry for a bond by the said Archibald, in favour of James Spence as Treasurer of the Bank of Scotland, for the sum of £300, 7 April 1777. (2) Copy of a bill by Capt. John Peebles in Irvine, in favour of the said Archibald and William, of the sum of £400, and an acknowledgment by the said Archibald to the said William that he had received that sum and engaging himself to retire the original bill when the said William, being only cautioner for him, should think proper, 11 November 1783. |
