Ante-nuptial marriage contract between John Cunynghame of Glengarnok and his son John Cunynghame (Cuninghame) of Cadell on the one part and John Boill of Kelburne, with advice of John Birsbane of Bischoptoun, John Firsell of Knok, John Boill of Ballikewin and William Boill, his curators, and Agnes Firsell, Lady Kelburne, Patrick Crawfurd now her spouse, and Margaret Boill, daughter of the said Agnes on the other, for the marriage of the said Margaret and John Cunynghame of Cadell by which the said John Cunynghame of Cadell is to infeft the said Margaret in liferent in half the 5-merkland of Cadell and in the miln of Cadell with the astricted multures of the lands of Lawchtis and Utintowin, Margaret's tocher being 750 merks. |
