Giving news of "my brother Donald's death at Jamaica".
[Letter endorsed in Colin's writing: "The letter that gave account of my brother Daniells death". The names "Donald" and "Daniel" seem to be interchangeable.]

On difficulty of getting good tenants for Glenure's lands and general confusion following on Culloden, including 'stealing and even harships'.
