Dated at Maryburgh etc. 1723, August 24. Asking to be supplied with meal, butter and cheese
1723, August 28. "I intreate the favure of yu that yu would cause lead the barks to the shore att the head of Loughcrearane and there detaine itt till the fifteen of September and if your money viz one hundred and fiftey pounds sterling is not paid yu against that tyme or sooner I hereby aloue yu to dispose of the said oak barks for the payment of the above sume ..."
1728, March 14. Saying he is "mightely streatened" for meal and butter, and asking to be supplied.
1729, April 27. Asking to be supplied with meal " ... I have fifty persons and hes not one mouthfull to give them in the world (.) If ye favuire me with this ye will oblidge me more then if ye had given me ten pounds sterling ..."
1732, March 4. Begging recipient to do all he can for "my poore widow and for my child with Sir Duncan and the Company."
