1724, 1735. Dated at Dunstafnedg, Achmor. 1724, July 31. Concerning certain mason work which recipient wishes to be done. "... I shall do all I can to pleas you with the stons .. I expect ye will send ane boot when I go and tuo good pikes ..."
Also discusses a similar bargain he has made with Appin, and asks recipient to put in a good word for him.
" ... I heav sent to the moroving [sic] for Apens concaves and I hear that he is like to be verey hard upon me ..."
1735, May 28. Asking for help in regaining the fifteen pounds he was out of pocket in the construction of two bridges he built in Glenorchy. |
