Dated at Ardtettill. 1727, November 9. [Probably error for December] Expressing sympathy on hearing of the death of recipient's wife, and apologising because he will not be able to attend the funeral.
From Artetle 1735, April 21. Complaining that his neighbours and nephews intend to keep all their cattle in the strath, as they did last year, and not to send them to the sheiling.
