Description |
Apologies for 'tumbling inadvertedly into a fitt of unruly passion about the lucrative tacke of Sronmellochan'.
With a Letter 1719, March 4 to John Campbell, chamberlain to the Earl of Breadalbane, from the said Earl, regarding the theft of a horse belonging to Duncan Campbell, merchant in Edinburgh, from the King's Park there. It is alleged that Robert McNab, maltman to the said Earl, bought the horse from the thief at Dunblane Fair, and recipient is ordered to see McNab and find out if there is any truth in the allegation.
