Description |
Her son, Colin is in 'a very great hazard of ane afront,' if 2000 merks are not given to him at once; asks Barcaldine to come to an arrangement with some man in Glenorchie, with whom she and the earl have been bargaining, 'My lord is positiv with me that he will stand to whatever bargen you make with the man' (26 April 1697)
Asks him again for money for Colin who is now in France, (12 November 1968)
