Pat. Campbell came here this day in his way to Barbrecke ... thence goes with a howdie to Auchinbrecke, he paints the Earl in his bloody robes of revenge in every thing that may contribute to my overthrow and thinks he will not strike at any thing to get his poynt wrought'.
