Description |
1. 1748, May 13. Commission by James Erskine, advocate, sheriff depute of the shire of Perth, to Duncan Campbell, brother to [blank] Campbell of Barcaldine, appointing him as one of his substitutes.
2. 1748, May 20. Certificate that Duncan Campbell, writer in Glenorchy compeared before Quarter Sessions and qualified himself as baron bailie for baronies of Deshair and Toir etc.
3. 1748, May 27. Nomination by John, lord Glenorchy, of Duncan Campbell, brother of John Campbell of Barcaldine, as baron bailie of all granter's lands in shire of Perth.
4. 1750, August 18. Commission by John, lord Glenorchy, to Duncan Campbell, sheriff substitute of Perthshire, as baron bailie of 30 merkland of Fernan in sheriffdom of Perth.
5. 1754 [-] 22. Certificate that Duncan Campbell of Glenure took oathes of allegiance and abjuration. Damaged.
6. 1754, July 19. Nomination by John Swinton, younger, of Swinton, advocate, sheriff depute of shire of Perth, of Duncan Campbell of Glenure as his sheriff substitute. With certificate of Glenure's qualification as sheriff substitute, 22 July 1754.
7. 1761, April 21. Another similar nomination in favour of Glenure, with a certificate. |
