Charter of confirmation by Archibald, marquis of Argyll, of feu charter, 10 January 1588/9, by deceased Alexander McGillespick Roy of Lagnaha with consent of deceased John Stewart of Appyne to deceased Archibald McAllister VcEan, of 20s. land being half of lands of Lagnaha in Durror, containing charter of novodamus by said marquis in favour of Allan Mcgillespik VcAllister VcEan, son of said deceased Archibald and deceased Marie Nein Ean VcGillespik, his spouse, of said lands, together with all title said marquis may have had by reason of any decreets before lords of council and session at his instance against deceased Duncan Stewart of Appyne and Duncan Stewart now of Appyne, his son, or against deceased John Gerr McAllister Roy and said Allan McGillespick VcAllister or by reason of disposition and resignation of whole lands of Appyne and Durror by said Duncan Stewart now of Appyne. |
