Description |
A full copy of the first four depositions re Glenure's murder has been sent to justice clerk and a copy of the whole precognitions and letters to lord advocate; thinks that behaviour of Dugald McColl on afternoon of murder should be inquired into, especially whether he was with Allan [Breck] and Old Bali[chulish] that night, (30 June 1752).
Writer's brother, Alexander, when passing the scene of the murder, found a sealskin `spleuchan' with moulded tobacco in it, which he `inconsiderately' lent to Donald Bane McVain; urges Duncan Campbell to retrieve this as evidence, (20 March 1753)
