Description |
Re poinding of tenants on Forfeited Estates, process against Glendessary; `I told Mr. Moncrieff that that order to take a Decreet against Lady Ardsheell who is abroad, before the sheriff was inconsistant but he said there was no matter for that, and you might summon her at the ruins of Ardsheal's house' (28 February 1751).
Has heard that there has been a `huge' complaint against Glenure by one of his Forfeited Estates tenants who complained he has been sacrificed to allow Glenure to make peace with his old enemy, Fassafern, (28 May 1751)
