1810, September 18. Regrets to hear that Barcaldine's mother is ill again - recommends that she should be immediately bled, at least a dozen leeches applied to her temples, and to begin in a diet consisting entirely of fruit and weak pudding, as well as a blister on the back of her head.
1810, December 27. Assures Barcaldine that if his directions are not followed Mrs Campbell will die of apoplexy
