Description |
Re alterations to Barcaldine's house in Moray Place.
1825, October 6. Apologises for the delay in finishing the house, but explains that this is entirely due to the delay in sending back the plan and the magnitude of the proposed alterations.
1825, October 12. Regrets Barcaldine's entry to the house must be delayed till the plaster dries.
`I may mention that the house north of yours, although began half a year sooner than yours, the gentleman it belongs to, considers it to be unsafe for his health to inhabit, and he has declined entering to it though it could be quite ready by martinmas.'
1826, June 22. Sends inside glass door plan, along with plans of different staircase ceilings
