Description |
1813, April 17. Windows for Barcaldine's ferry house are ready, and his drawings 'are in a state of forwardness'.
1814, June 17. 'I have compleated the proposd plan of your offices and a sketch of your proposd Castle with the principal floor - which will in the mean time be sufficient to enable you to make up your mind. Notwithstanding the Features of the Sublime Scenery of Barcaldine being in favour of the Baronial or Castelated style of Building, yet I think the site is much more appropriated to that of the Priory and I may say with truth that Barcaldine with the exception of Inveraray, is not to be equall'd in this Kingdom.'
1821, May 7. Sends a design for a burying place
Dated at Edinburgh. |
