On proposed removal of church of Ardchattan; apologises for having said more than he ought to have done, 'but being extremely sorry to part with the church was the cause of my speaking so warmly upon the subject ... I can have no objection to a new church being built in the most convenient situation for the accommodation of the General's and your tenants, and to repair the church at Ardchattan and Mr. Fraser could then give Sunday about'
