'I have mad 16 pound weght of strau berrey jam, 14 lb. black corran jilly, 5 of black corran jam, 14 lb. red corran gilly, 6 l whit corran jilly - the gus berries is not com in yet, you will be pleased to let me kno how much of the gus berry jam I will mack - I am afred you will think I have mad tou much of gilly but there is a great dell of frut in the garden the year of all kinds, there is som cherries I intend to preserve if the birds dos not taike them befor they be ready
1811, May 15. 'I am verry much trubled with the derrey mad, she will do notheng but what she plaess. I am verry ill plased with her, she is most shoking dartey and will not kep her derray clan nor her deshess'
