Description |
1769, January 21. His father is displeased that recipient has not come home, but she does not wonder he has not when Glenure's temper is as it is; she herself will not stay at Glenure any longer, and if recipient and his uncle will not do anything for her she will go to law, and trust to get justice from the Fifteen; gives details of the articles of settlement she is willing to accept; 'teall your unkle not to trifle is time in douing for me in geating a farm for he nead not thinkes of keaping me longer here, I am heart sike of my waye of life. I have sent four cheese to you both'.
n.d. Complains that Dr. McLaurin's account is most extravagent as he has made her house his home; warns Barcaldine to be careful how he pays him
