Re Glenure's woods; 'I will wait on you any Day you please if a Fair Day as I do not willingly gett Wett' (4 Sept. 1780).
With a recipe for making bitters - '2 oz. Ginson root, rind of 9 Civil oranges paired very thin and dried, 2 drams of saffron, 2 drams of cotchineel infused in 3 pints of brandy (but not Scots pints) 48 hours in the sun or by the fire' (21 Sept. 1781)
