Has been informed that Mr. Dale in Glasgow intends to erect some extensive pieces of machinery; wishes to recommend her son, James Conacher, bred an engineer and millwright, who has lately been in Holland and England to examine machinery, 'What may be his knowledge or abilities in the line of his profession is more than I can determine, but I can truly say that the time and expence he has bestowed upon it might qualify him to be Docter in Divinity, Medicine or Law'.
