Re process against Lochdochart, 1757.
1 August 1763. The prisoner, John Man, is to be escorted to Perth jail; urges Glenure to make more enquiries about 'this atrocious deed,' apparently the murder of a woman in a sheephouse, 'Margaret M'Grigor, spouse to Hugh Robertson, soldier in Gibralter, depones that when she was questioning Katherine M'Donald about the father of her child, she answered she cou'd not tell and live, which expression she spoke weeping'.
