Title |
Letter of Regress by King James V narrating that Cuthbert, Earl of Glencarne, and Sir William Cunynghame, liferenter and fiar respectively of the lordship of Kilmaurs, gave charter and sasine to Hugh, Earl of Eglinton, and Archibald Montgomery, Master of Eglinton, his grandson and heir, of the lands of Langmure, Auldtoun, Tydwod, 1/3 part of Lamrochtoun, and others, in terms of a decreet arbitral, and the said Earl of Eglinton granted letters of reversion thereupon. When the reversion takes effect, the King promises to receive and repone Cuthbert and William as Crown vassels in these lands |
