Title |
Procuratory of resignation by Hew Kennedy of Chapell with consent of Florence McDowell, his spouse, directed to James Hauthorne, indweller in St. John's Chapell, his procurator to resign into the hands of John Kennedy of Creichane "my father in law" [lege stepfather] as superior, the 5 merklands of Creichane with manor place etc., in favour of James Glover, notary, his heirs and assigns. The resignation was in consideration of infeftment procured by Glover, of Hew and his wife and the longer liver in the 6 merklands of Over and Nether Clennereis and the one merkland of Glentirrow in the parish of Inche and in consideration of infeftment to be given at the desire of the said Florence McDowell to the said Hew in the 5 merklands of Altoun and the 16/8d. worth of the lands of Mulknok in the parish of Kirkmadin |
