Contract registered on 2 June 1612, between William Adair of Kinhilt and John Kennedy now styled of Creichane, narrating previous contract dated 24 March 1609 and renouncing in favour of Adair the right of patronage of the kirk of Kirkmadin referred to in that previous contract, without prejudicing the other rights under that contract. The latter relate mainly to teinds. For which renunciation Adair pays to Kennedy 6000 merks and procures renunciation by George Gordoun of Barskeot of his wadset right of 3000 merks over the lands of Kildonane |
