Charter dated at Wigton and Calder, by James Sandilands of Calder, Lord of Torphichen and of the following Temple lands, with consent of James Tennand of Linhous, his commissioner and bailie of Regality, of the temple land of Croftlinzeane, the southern part of which adjoins the lands of Balgoun and the northern part the lands of Auchinneis, now possessed by Peter McCulloch of Killaister and William Ritchie his subtenant beyond memory of man, in favour of Ninian McCulloch, sixth son of said Peter, and his heirs male, whom failing of Patrick McCulloch his next youngest brother and his heirs male whom failing of the said Peter their father and his heirs male and successors in the lands of Killaister; Rendering 2/- Scots yearly; with precept directed to John Carnis of Cultis |
