Title |
Renunciation by John McCulloch of Wignegarne, son lawful to the deceast Symon McCulloch of Myrtoun, narrating contract dated 13 April 1575, between the said deceast Symon and the deceast Patrick McDowell of Logane whereby for £1000 paid by Patrick, Symon was to be infeft with Marion Gordon, his spouse for life and then the said John McCulloch and his heirs in the 3 merklands of Kilstay by the said Patrick McDowell. John McCulloch now renounces the lands in favour of John McDowell of Logan as son to the said deceast Patrick who had paid him 300 merks, and takes burden for the said Marion Gordoun, his mother and for Robert Charteris, now her spouse |
