Instrument of resignation at the Chapel of St. John, at the hand of James Glover, N.P., narrating that Alexander Agnew of Croach resigned the 2½ merkland of Killumquha-Agnew and the 20/- lands of Nether Grenane in the parish of Kirkmadin, into the hands of Janet Agnew, daughter and undoubted heir to the deceast Quintin Agnew of Killumquha as into the hands of his superior with all evidents and titles granted to him by the said Janet, - in order that Janet might dispone the lands to Walter Agnew son of the late Nivin Agnew in Killumquha and his heirs male, to be held of John McDowell of Logan |
