Title |
Contract between John, Commendator of Salset and Patrick McDowell of Logan, narrating that Patrick was due to him some arrears of teinds of the lands and barony of Logan, occupied by him for certain past years and the Commendator and his successors had obtained decreet against him and his tenants. The Commendator now discharges execution of all hornings under the decreet against Patrick until 24 June next, prior to which he and his successors will convene with Patrick in the place of [ ] and agree in the price of the bolls of meal and beir. Patrick finds caution for payment during his life and the Commendator discharges him of £45 paid to the Commendator by George Mak, servitor to Alexander Mauchan in part payment "to be allowit in first end".
