Minute of Agreement at Ardwell, between John Gordon of Clonyard and James McCulloch of Mule whereby John dispones to James the 5 merkland of Portincorkie and Slock of Portincorkie in the barony of Clonyard, as previously disponed to McDowell of Logan, paying 17 years purchase on the rent of 438 merks less teind of 80 merks yearly and that for relieving John at the hands of Andrew McDowell of Corochtrie of 3,800 merks for which the lands were wadset, and also at the hands of Mr. Alex. Adair of Drumore of 2,300 merks; binding himself that his son Alex. Gordon not then present, would subscribe the disposition |
