The said Hew younger takes upon himself liability for certain sums due by his father to Thomas Stewart late provost of Wigtoun, Adam McKie provost or Wigton John Ramsay of Boghouse, Patrick Kinkead (sic) in Auchlane, William McDowell in Craignairgit, the deceast John Adair of Little Ganoch, William Gordoun of Craighlaw assignee of Patrick Agnew of Seuchane, David Dunbar of Baldoon, John Rorrisone of Barndaroch and to George Campbell son to Charles Campbell of Balseroch - in all 10,750 merks scots |
