Disposition by Gilbert Kennedy of Ganoct and John Kennedy, his eldest son and heir and Janet Fergusson, spouse of the said John, to James Cathcart of Barneill for great sum received by Gilbert for his lawful business, without reversion, of the 46/8d. lands of Meikle Torris, the 20/- lands of Middle Torris,the 40/- lands of Upper Torris and 20/- lands of Little Ganoct, in the Lordship of Glenluce, in feu paying 100 merks yearly, held of the Bishop of Galloway, with precept directed to Andro Inkle, servitor to the said Bishop.
