Archival history |
GD1/1203/1-4 were gifted to SRO in January 1997 by Mr S Connelly, Perth & Kinross Council Archivist, who had bought the papers at a Phillips (Glasgow) book sale, 12 May 1993. GD1/1203/5 was purchased by SRO at a Phillips (Glasgow) book sale, 19 March 1997. The records were probably formerly in the custody of Messrs Glen & Henderson, Linlithgow solicitors, although they appear not to be specifically mentioned in the list of papers held by the firm: see National Register of Archives (Scotland) survey no 395. |
